The Firefly Spectacle

Along spring creeks, fertile bogs and marshes, a phenomenal insect emerges. It's early June, and the soft bodied beetles known as "Fireflies" are booming and performing their mating rituals in the long grasses of swampy, wet environments. The common Snipes are also quite enchanting with their thrilling "wooping" noises made by their wings in a hovering descent. Nearing a full moon, the valley shines under glistening texture. Little green flashes all around, by the thousands, darting in every direction, and even flying into our convertible cabrio, showing us their intricate bodies and glowing abdomens.

One of natures most interesting spectacles to embrace and see with your own eye. The fields produce a mouth dropping beauty of shimmer under the fading glow of evening into night. The stars smile down on us, satisfied with our companionship with natures monumental gifts. Imitating a system a christmas lights, the firefly emergence dazzles our spirits when we see them. They are littles pieces of positive glow that we all need in our lives. Brisk sunsets of early June in Montana, life is where the green is, and its right here!!!
