Its Mid- October and autumn displays beautiful colors of seasonal transition. High elevations threatens to receive snow, time in the mountains is getting slimmer every day towards winters emergence. A special intuition came over me as it called for me up there in the mountains. An opportunity not taken very often in ones life. To observe and pursue in catching the limited population of Golden Trout in Montana once again.
Although not native to Montana, these fish are a golden ticket to satisfaction or aggravation. Their unique yellowish gold shimmer and crimson red contrast boasts attractive properties that are impressive and purely astonishing. Being able to catch a golden often prompts more patience and more finessed presentations as their diets most often consist of small prey. These fish portray hues of autumn, sparking appreciation at every glance. Symbols of a warm and honorable soul. Vigilance and dedication brings forth the reward that is deserved and respected.
Amongst the warmth of the sun, life clings on to the last sustenance that the sun provides. The occasional trout sips the small midge fly that floats the surface, creating a ripple across the sparkling beauties. A light breeze makes the yellow grass dance and carries the woodpecker to a new tree. A chipmunk searches for winter food storages as the days grow cold. The blue ripples across the depths creates a gratifying portrait for Earths colorful energies.
Pure remedies that don't last long enough, the sun creeps towards the tree tops , and the chill arrives ever so fast as shade blankets the lakes. Vision into the world of the wonderful Golden Trout becomes dark with obscurity and a reflection of the sky presents itself. Lessons of the day ripples across a lakes surface if your open to reflecting on them.
