Up high in the mountains lie great spectacles to be seen. The growth of life all around is lush and fresh as the snow still melts. A breeze through the pines and creek flow meadows ensnares the senses and brings a euphoric treatment that's needed to help sustain a healthy spirit in todays society. Many flowers and pollinator insects were abound, providing a serene environment full of gratitude at every step taken. Tall peaks, and walls of stone having closure for deposits of snow creates exciting views, and contrasts for these magnificent places. Wild unions grow amongst the spring fed meadows, and taste really good right now. Westslope Cutthroat and Brook Trout roam the clean mountain water. A sparsely tied dry fly hovered on the surface was the only productive method I found to catch them. An obscurely blonde black bear crossed the road in front of us on the way up to the lake, we were thrilled. A beautiful waterfall and many springs run into the lake, cleansing the land with clean, pure water. The natural wonders of the mountains are very special to me, especially when I'm with some of the people I love. This trip it was with my wonderful father Evan Joyner on his birthday 6/25/24, and my awesome grandmother Darla Joyner. A very unique experience for us all that we won't forget……
